Hi, I am Dene' Dauzat. I truly have a passion for teaching and have been blessed to be the Jr. High English teacher at St. Ignatius for 17 years. I am always super excited about a new upcoming school year. I always miss my students over the summer and especially look forward to all the new faces. I am, without a doubt, so grateful to do what I love and love what I do. Thank you for sharing your lives with me.
My husband, David
My husband, David, and I have been married for 17 years. Marrying Dave is was brought me South from my hometown of Natchitoches. When Dave and I married, he too was a teacher and a coach. After having our first son, he changed professions and now works as an Insurance Producer at Dupre Carrier Godchaux.
My boys, Jackson and Jonah
David and I have two very precious, unique, and fun boys. Jackson, 11, will be in 6th grade and Jonah, 6, in 1st this year at SIS. Both of our boys love school and sports. There is nothing better than having them with me at work everyday.
